Strawberry freezer jam

Ingredients

  • 6 3/4 cups crushed strawberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen white grape or apple juice concentrate
  • 1/2 cup water1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 4 cups sugar1
  • 1/4 - 1 1/2 cups ULTRA GEL
  • 1 pkg. strawberry drink mix (optional)

Directions

  1. Combine the crushed strawberries, juice concentrate, water, lemon juice, drink mix and sugar.  Stir until dissolved. 
  2. Gradually stir in 1 1/4 c. ULTRA GEL.
  3. Allow to stand 10 minutes to thicken. If a thicker consistency is desired, slowly add the remaining 1/4 c. of Ultra Gel.
  4. Package, seal, label, and freeze for 6-12 months.
  5. This recipe may be doubled or tripled if desired.
  6. Makes about 7 pints of jam.
